Just a little family from Maine embarking on a journey of a lifetime.
Jake and I met up at a coffee shop in Portland, ME in June of 2021. It was my first date that didn’t start with the typical “dinner and drinks”. It was a refreshing different kind of first date and years later little did I know that Jake was everything I didn’t know I needed or wanted.
We soon realized that we had a lot in common such as hiking, being outside, love for our families, skiing/ snowboarding, animals, food, sweets and so much more.
During the summertime, you can usually find us hiking in the mountains, having a competitive game of mini golf or on an adventure with our dog Cassie.
Wintertime in Maine can be ROUGH. I’m personally not a fan of the cold, I’m usually bundled up with sweatshirts or blankets, but skiing is what gets me through the cold months. My brother got me into skiing after wanting to find a hobby in the winter, so I didn’t dread it so much. It’s funny because the winter after I learned how to ski, I met Jake who was an avid snowboarder. Soon it turned into dates on the mountain!
We are always planning our next trip or next adventure and this one has to be our biggest one yet!

Jake
Jake grew up in Duxbury, MA and moved to Maine in 2020 for his recovery.
Jake is a natural athlete who wrestled through college and now is an avid lifter, hiker, snowboarder, etc. He can pretty much can do anything he sets his heart and mind to.

I was born and raised in Maine and lived there for most of my life.
I have always loved traveling and exploring new parts of the world. I enjoy trying to news things as you might discover a hidden love for something.
Ella
The OG! Ella is our cuddly, sassy, smart girl. I adopted her on December 7th, 2019 (around 5 years old) from Hart of Maine Animal Rescue.
She stole Jake’s heart shortly after we met when he was able to hold her like a baby.
Cassie
Our sweet, friendly, energetic girl! She’s a pit bull/lab mix and was born on June 11, 2022.
We rescued her from the Animal Refuge League in Greater Portland in April of 2023 when she was 10 months old.
