This is the final post celebrating one year of blogging in Bozeman, and today, we’re highlighting some of our favorite places to eat! If you’re on the hunt for gluten-free options, this is definitely the go-to guide for Bozeman
Revelry
Revelry is by far one of our top favorite restaurants! If you’ve been keeping up with our journey, you’re aware that Revelry is one of our top restaurant picks in Bozeman. We’ve sampled their lunch and dinner offerings, but we were pleasantly surprised to discover they also serve brunch!
It certainly lived up to expectations. Jake opted for a breakfast pizza, while I chose a breakfast sandwich.

SUNNY SIDE PIZZA
Two sunny-side-up eggs, beef tallow smashed potatoes, fresh oregano, red onions, Nueske’s bacon, mozzarella, fresh arugula, chipotle hollandaise, and Sriracha hot honey.

BREAKFAST SANDWICH
Thick-cut Nueske’s bacon, American cheese, Sriracha aioli, chives, and scrambled eggs on a gluten free bun, accompanied by beef tallow smashed potatoes.
When we visited for lunch, we shared a delicious pizza and a flavorful chicken sandwich. It’s amusing to think that we’ve dined there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner—it’s safe to say we’ve truly experienced all the flavors this spot has to offer!

MARGHERITA PIZZA
Red sauce, mozzarella, fresh basil, olive oil, gluten-free cauliflower crust.

TUSCAN CHICKEN SANDWICH
Grilled marinated cage-free chicken breast, fresh mozzarella, pesto, herbed aioli, arugula, cherry tomatoes, red onions, gluten-free bun.
We also went there for my birthday last year. For appetizers, we ordered the Asian-style cauliflower wings, served with a miso bleu cheese dressing, and the Japan Chicken—hand-dredged fried chicken topped with sweet chili sauce, togarashi, house-cured pickles, and green onion. Everything was gluten-free and absolutely delicious! Even Jake was impressed.
For our entrees, Jake had the bison meatloaf, which came with roasted carrots, mashed potatoes, and a scallion demi-glace. I ordered the Pasta alla Russa—house-made pipe rigate pasta with pecorino, red sauce, charred ricotta, fresh herbs, herb-infused olive oil, and grilled chicken.

MacKenzie River Pizza
MacKenzie River is one of those restaurants that manages to combine great food with a warm, inviting atmosphere. From the moment you walk in, the cozy, rustic décor and friendly staff make you feel right at home. One of the biggest highlights for me is their separate gluten-free menu—an absolute game-changer. It’s always a relief to have a range of thoughtfully crafted gluten-free options, and MacKenzie River doesn’t disappoint.
At first, I thought this was just a charming local spot, but I was surprised to learn that MacKenzie River actually has 28 locations spread across the Midwest and western United States. Despite being part of a larger chain, it still feels like a one-of-a-kind find, which makes it all the more impressive.

Gluten free Cheese Pizza
I got a cheese pizza with chicken, bacon and a side of BBQ sauce to drizzle on top.

MacKenzie Alfredo Pasta
Seasoned chicken, prosciutto, broccoli and tomatoes, tossed with creamy alfredo sauce, penne and parmesan.

BBQ chicken pizza made with fajita-style chicken, a sweet and smoky barbecue sauce, red onions, and a blend of mozzarella and cheddar cheese, all served on a gluten-free crust.
Jam! on Main

Jam! on Main is a bustling breakfast spot that’s always packed for good reason. They don’t take reservations, so if you plan to visit, be prepared for a bit of a wait. But trust me, the food is well worth it. The vibrant energy, creative menu, and consistently delicious dishes make it easy to see why it’s such a local favorite. Whether you’re there for a weekend brunch or a weekday treat, the experience never disappoints.

Basic Benedict
Seared maple-glazed ham, poached eggs, and hollandaise on a gluten free English muffin. Served with citrus arugula and heirloom home fries.
I ate every single bite on this plate because it was just that good!

Pulled Pork Omelet
Four egg omelet with smoked pork shoulder, Monterey jack and cotija cheese, pork chili verde, pico de gallo and cilantro lime crema. Served with heirloom home fries & grilled country toast with a huckleberry jam.
Jake said his was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent and fast!
Farmer’s Daughters Cafe
The first thing that drew me to The Farmer’s Daughters was their gluten-free muffins. You might not think it’s a big deal, but I can’t remember the last time I had a gluten-free muffin that wasn’t homemade.
Let me tell you, these muffins are hands down the best gluten-free muffins I’ve ever had!
The Farmer’s Daughters opened in 2018, founded by two sisters who were born and raised on a farm. Their goal was to bring food to Bozeman that tastes just like something out of Grandma’s kitchen, but with a healthier twist.
The sisters also own the hotel attached to the small café, and everything they serve is made from scratch in their kitchen. If you ever make your way to The Farmer’s Daughters, you’ll find a variety of delicious menu options, including smoothies, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, and a large coffee selection.

Pumpkin muffin
A gluten free pumpkin muffin that is so moist and full of flavor. Their muffins are by far the best gluten free muffins I’ve ever had!

Breakfast Sandwich
Egg, Daily’s bacon, Vermont cheddar cheese, avo crema, spinach on sourdough with a green salad.
Feed Cafe
The Feed Cafe provides a one-of-a-kind farm-to-barn dining experience that is as unique as it is delicious. With ingredients sourced directly from local farms, every dish is crafted with fresh, seasonal produce, all served in the charming setting of a beautifully renovated barn. It’s the perfect blend of rustic ambiance and farm-fresh flavors.

They’ve created a truly unique setup that enhances the entire dining experience. When you visit the barn, you first walk through their charming market, which is such a brilliant touch! The line to order your food winds through the market, so as you wait, you get to browse all the one-of-a-kind trinkets and items they have for sale. It’s a perfect way to pass the time while getting a glimpse of the unique treasures they offer.

The Muff
A breakfast sandwich that includes a sausage patty, scrambled egg, sharp white cheddar, pickled onion on toasted gluten free bread.

The Bapple
A breakfast sandwich with a redneck sausage patty, bacon, roasted apple, scrambled egg, sharp white cheddar, harissa mayo on a house-made english muffin.
Red Tractor Pizza
Red Tractor Pizza serves up New York-style brick oven pizza with a distinct Bozeman twist. Not only do they source their ingredients from local farms, but they also offer live music and entertainment throughout the week, adding an extra layer of charm to the experience.
This place has that perfect “hole-in-the-wall” vibe—unassuming, yet incredibly delicious. When you step inside, you’re greeted by a cozy, no-frills atmosphere. It’s not fancy, but the energy is welcoming and relaxed. While we didn’t visit during one of the live music sessions, I can easily imagine that the experience is even more vibrant with the entertainment.
Red Tractor Pizza has quickly become one of our favorite pizza spots, and we’ll definitely be back for more. Another great restaurant checked off our list!

Steak & Cheese
White sauce, roast beef, mozzarella, red onions, topped with green scallions, drizzled with a little truffle oil on a hand tossed gluten free dough.

Waldorf Pizza
Roasted garlic sauce, mozzarella, gorgonzola, free range chicken, bacon, apples, VT maple-candied walnuts, MT honey drizzle.
Mukai Coffee House
While exploring local coffee shops, we stumbled upon this gem right next to Planet Fitness—what better way to start your day after a workout? The coffee house was bigger than expected and had an amazing vibe. It’s the kind of place you could easily spend hours at, perfect for sitting down and blogging or simply relaxing.
I ordered a peppermint latte, and Jake went for a cold brew. While we waited, I decided to check out the bakery display. Normally, I just gaze longingly at all the delicious treats I can’t have, but this time, something caught my eye: a gluten-free, dairy-free banana nut bread. I couldn’t contain my excitement! It’s rare that I find something I can actually eat. At first, I thought the coffee house had made it themselves, but after reading the label, I discovered it was made by Sisters Gluten Free Bakery, based in Belgrade, MT.

Jake also ordered a breakfast burrito, which he said was fantastic. And as for the cold brew, he mentioned it was probably the strongest he’d ever had—so if you’re sensitive to caffeine, you might want to reconsider that choice!
Coming up!
This is likely going to be one of my final blogs about our trip out west from this past year. But don’t worry, there’s still plenty of adventure to come! Stay tuned for next week, when I’ll be sharing all about our time in Chicago, followed by an exciting exploration of New Hampshire. Can’t wait to take you along on these next chapters of our journey!
