Our second full week in Bozeman, MT! It feels kind of crazy that we are making Bozeman our home for now. This week has been pretty uneventful when it comes to exploring but I assure you that we did try some new places to eat! I still can’t get over how gluten free friendly Bozeman is, it makes my heart happy.
The number one question we’ve been getting is if we have found a place to live yet. We did find a place we love and put in an application. We have our fingers crossed in hoping we get approved for the place. It’s AMAZING, it has a year-round pool, outdoor kitchen with a pizza oven, gym, game area, sports simulator, yoga, peloton bikes, dog park and much more! I can’t wait to show you all if we get the place.
Snowfill Dog Park
It’s been quite a rainy week with spurts of sunshine so it wasn’t ideal for adventures. Mid week though we had a beautiful day here so Cassie and I tried out a local dog park.
This dog park was awesome and nothing I’ve ever experienced. It was a fenced in dog park with miles of walking trails. Cassie absolutely loved it! She was doing so good with her recall until she met a dog she really loved. There was no listening to mommy so it was time to call it a day. We will definitely be going back as she was pooped by the end of the day.

Mukai Coffee House
Normally I love trying new restaurants but lately I’ve really been intrigued by checking out local coffee shops. This coffee house was right next to Planet Fitness so what better way to start your day after the gym. It was bigger than expected and had such great vibes! It would be a great place to sit down and blog.
I got a peppermint latte; Jake got a cold brew and I decided to take a glance at the bakery items they had on display. I usually just drool over the items as I normally can’t have any of them but this time I spotted a gluten free/diary free banana nut bread. Boy, did I get excited! Not often do I look and there’s something I can actually have. At first I assumed the coffee house made it but when I was reading the label, it was made in a bakery shop called Sisters Gluten Free Bakery based out of Belgrade, MT. I know where we’ll be going next weekend. 😉

Jake also got a breakfast burrito and he said it was really good and that the coffee was probably the strongest cold brew he’s ever had. So if you’re sensitive to caffeine.. probably not the best choice!
Pita Pit
Pita Pit is a sandwich shop that leans towards the healthier side and can cater to gluten free people and vegetarians as well. They have different wraps you can choose from, or you can build your own which is always awesome to have!
I got a philly steak wrap with a gluten free wrap and double the steak! Plus look at those grill marks, it was delicious. Jake got a BBQ pulled pork wrap and it was so good that he was half finished before I could snap a picture of it. One thing that I love about Jake is that he’s so good about finding restaurants that have decent gluten free options.
This was a Jake pick this week and it will definitely be a place we return too.

It’s kind of crazy because we haven’t been to a place that we haven’t really liked. I’m sure that will come in time but so far, the options are great!
I have to say, the people are so friendly here, the food is great, the outdoor activities are just indescribable. I’m really looking forward to trying new activities this summer and maybe check out the local music festivals. Even though we love Bozeman, it has come with its struggles trying to navigate a new lifestyle on the west coast.
Change is hard and we knew there would be bumps in the road. Even though there are days that are a little challenging, we put our heads together and get through it. Jake and I complement each other’s strengths and weaknesses so well that I truly believe we can get through anything life throws at us.
Talk to you all next week, hopefully from our new apartment!
